LOCAL MISSIONS
Local missions take place in Gordon County and the surrounding community. Impacting Gordon and Beyond is Meadowdale's tagline and we strive to make an impact for the Kingdom of God in our community. We often collect items for ministries and para-church organizations in our community and find ways to serve at those places as well.

Voluntary Action Center Senior Basket Item Collection
Spring 2024
Each month the Voluntary Action Center puts together baskets for seniors in our community. This year, Meadowdale collected dish soap.
Christmas in July backpacks
Spring 2024
Each year, Meadowdale women participate in Christmas in July with other churches in the community. This ministry provides backpacks, school supplies, and other items for families in need in our community. Meadowdale collects backpacks each year to support this great opportunity.
W.L. Swain Elementary School
Summer 2024 and Ongoing
Meadowdale is heavily invested at W.L. Swain Elementary which is right down the road from us. We serve at Swain in many different ways throughout the school year, but one big way we support the teachers at Swain is through the teacher item collection we do in the summer. The teachers give us their want lists and we strive to collect every single item on those lists for the teachers!
DOMESTIC MISSIONS
Domestic missions take place in the continental United States. These trips often focus on construction and social settings in order to have opportunities to share the Gospel. We strive to have at least one domestic mission trip each year, typically during the summer.

Who: Adults and Students at least 16 years old and 10-15 years olds with an adult

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
Each year around Easter, we collect money for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering which goes to support missionaries in North America through the North American Mission Board (NAMB). NAMB is one of the mission arms of the Southern Baptist Convention and every dollar goes to support missionaries. If you wish to give to support the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, go to meadowdale.org/give and select the Easter offering (only available in the spring).
INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS
Jesus tells His disciples in Acts 1:8 to share the Gospel in Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. International missions has always been a vital part of Meadowdale's mission and Meadowdale strives to have an international mission trip each year.
Malawi Mission Trip
This summer a group from Meadowdale will be returning to Malawi to share the Gospel with the people there. They will be going from village to village telling the people about Jesus through interpreters. In previous years, thousands of people have come to know Jesus.
Lottie moon Christmas Offering
Each year around Christmas, we collect money for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering which goes to support missionaries around the world through the International Mission Board (IMB). IMB is one of the mission arms of the Southern Baptist Convention and every dollar goes to support missionaries.
